I have to apologize to people who want a more complex and harder form of Christianity. I am a model of how JESUS can use people that are simple and mundane. When I meet the pastor of a large church that is a Doctor of Divinity and has worked for 30 years to get to the position that God has given him, I am very irrelevant to what he is doing. In comparison to him, I am just an idiot. I am just a teacher in a secondary school. I am just a rebel.
However, I have been a Christian for 36 years and I have spent 36 years trying to find out who JESUS is, does he love me, how do we deal with sin, is there forgiveness from God, how do I pray for others, how do I serve others, etc?
The Christianity that I give at JESUS IN MONGKOK should be easy. It should be easy to understand and salvation should be for all. Whether a person is of low education, or is a child, or has mental challenges,. they should still be able to know that JESUS LOVES THEM!
Others believe in memorizing scriptures and doctrine, in getting imaginary demons out of people, of making people confess their sins in front of the church, of having an upper-class in church that is perfect and then a lower-class in church that is threatened and harangued so that they can never think for themselves or follow JESUS for themselves. Some ministries even make their people physically ill to show them they have demons in them when the pastor's wife that invited them to dinner was just a bad cook.
JESUS IN MONGKOK you will find is not really an EASY CHRISTIANITY. However, everyone should know EASY BASICS OF CHRISTIANITY--that they are loved by JESUS and forgiven of all of their sins when they work with me at JESUS IN MONGKOK!
Here are some Bible Verses that I want my friends to know so they can immediately accept JESUS into their life to become the LORD JESUS of their life:
John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Romans 3:23
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 10:9-10
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.[a] The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Romans 12:1-2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Mark 16:15-20
15 He said to them, “Go everywhere in the world. Tell the Good News to everyone. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved. But those who do not believe will be judged guilty. 17 And the people who believe will be able to do these things as proof: They will use my name to force demons out of people. They will speak in languages they never learned. 18 If they pick up snakes or drink any poison, they will not be hurt. They will lay their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” 19 After the Lord Jesus said these things to his followers, he was carried up into heaven. There, Jesus sat at the right side of God. 20 The followers went everywhere in the world telling people the Good News, and the Lord helped them. By giving them power to do miracles the Lord proved that their message was true.
These are the basics of JESUS IN MONGKOK:
1) Know about JESUS and know we are sinners.
2) Believe in JESUS.
3) Tell everyone we believe and then be baptized.
4) Realize that we are new in JESUS and all things old are gone.
5) Receive knowledge of Holy Spirit Baptizing US at Salvation and walk in Holy Spirit living life.
6) Give our life as an offering of worship to the Lord JESUS.
7) Ask JESUS, according to Father's plan and work of Holy Spirit, to teach us all things and renew our mind.
8) Go into all the world and make disciples of JESUS by doing the works of Holy Spirit!
JESUS IN MONGKOK believes that this is for everyone. If a little schoolgirl of 15 accepts JESUS then she is able to make disciples for JESUS and pray for the sick and see them healed!
JESUS IN MONGKOK is not a completely EASY form of Christianity because sin is not allowed. If we sin we need to confess our sins and turn from them. If JESUS asks us to do something we need to do it because we will all face God someday and HE will ask why we didn't do what HE asked us to do!
The best thing about JESUS IN MONGKOK is that we can do things fun! We can be happy! We can sing, dance! We can pray for people that are sick and see them get well! We can pray for people that are depressed and see the oppression/depression go away and the joy come!!!
JESUS IN MONGKOK people fast and pray, but they don't have to put on a somber face and show that they are pleasing God by fasting. They fast by buying a little less food or spending a little less money on clothing. The fast by caring for the orphans and widows and by praying quietly and being honest and compassionate to the broken and hurting in this world.
JESUS IN MONGKOK can use popular culture to share messages of the Gospel and they can be real to their friends and tell jokes that are uplifting and not bad. Laughter is just as important way for God to minister to us as falling asleep during a peaceful time of prayer so we can truly be ministered to by Holy Spirit!
JESUS IN MONGKOK LOVES ME and has taken authority over Mongkok and all of Hong Kong!
JESUS LOVES YOU!
BE ENCOURAGED AND HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!
